Overleaf is a web-based online text editor based upon LaTex. WSE is now able to provide a WSE-school-wide site license for the software. Those in WSE that are already paying license fees on their own should be able to switch over to WSE's license.

  • New users who sign up for Overleaf using their JHU email address will be prompted to confirm their affiliation through the SSO login page.
  • Existing users with a JHU email address will be encouraged to log in through SSO. For entitled users from the Whiting School of Engineering that already have a paid Overleaf subscription, they will also see a notification in their dashboard letting them know that they have access to this subscription and can cancel their personal subscription.

Overleaf's JHU page to request a license can be found at https://www.overleaf.com/edu/jhu
