UNPLANNED SERVICE OUTAGES

PLANNED OUTAGES
WHEN: Friday, August 22, 2014, from 6am to 8am.
There will be a planned power outage for Malone Hall's G-29 Server Room, home to the CS central and CS faculty servers, on Friday, August 22, from 6am to 8am. (This is due to electrical work being done in that room.)
This power outage will affect all of our CS servers, and we will provide further information sometime next week as to what services will be unavailable during that two-hour timeframe. Check back here before 8/22 for updates.
(Expect that we will be bringing down our CS servers at least one hour before the outage.)
IMPORTANT: CS Faculty who host servers in G-29, your servers are affected too! So, please make sure you prepare for this outage and have someone (you or your students) take down your machines before the outage and reboot them after the outage, if need be.
