The following is a list of Fedora Core Linux machines available for students, faculty, researchers, or staff. Most of these Linux machines are available in CS and

can be accessed remotely via ssh or scp.

(Note: all machines end with .cs.jhu.edu as in, masters1.cs.jhu.edu)

masters1 through masters16 - standard Linux clients - Shaffer 4 Lab Area and Collaboration Area

gl1 (stands for "Grad Lounge 1") - 3rd floor Grad Lounge (NEB 325)

gradx - Linux-based compute server. 8 core, 16gb RAM - only available remotely via ssh or scp
