CS Provides Backup Services
The CS IT Support Group performs tape-based backups nightly of data changed on the /users (Grad Net) and /home (Ugrad Net) file systems. We are able to restore many files for users as needed. (In certain instances, we can restore CS e-mail inboxes that reside on our CS email servers back into the systems' /var/mail directories or into your home directory.
NOTE: We do restores during the regular work day.
