Zoom And Other App Failures with MacOS Sequoia
There is an issue in Sequoia (the latest --as of Sep. 2024-- MacOS) that causes applications to lose permissions to accept inbound connections, which apparently includes TCP replies. Zoom is one of the common apps impacted.
The fix is to manually reset the permissions via the command line:
sudo /usr/libexec/ApplicationFirewall/socketfilterfw --add /Applications/zoom.us.app
