Requesting Changes To jhu.edu (not cs.jhu.edu) DNS Entries

As CS manages its own DNS (cs.jhu.edu), JHU manages their own DNS for jhu.edu entries. If you find you need to request changes to JHU's DNS for a non-CS domain name you are associated with, you'll need to contact JHU directly.

For example, you might have websites hosted on github under JHU custom domains (somehostname.jhu.edu), and github recently changed their policy that now requires verification of custom domains.

As of Fall, 2022, the current way to request changes to jhu.edu-based DNS entries (not CS's own cs.jhu.edu entries) is to fill out the DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Mgmnt) request form by visiting: https://t.jh.edu/ddi-request

If you have issues with JHU's DNS or submitting that form, the group that currently manages DNS for JHU can be reached at ddiadmins@jhmi.edu

Alternatively, you can contact the JHU IT Team who should be able to route your concerns to the correct group.
