If you require a mailing list for your course, please e-mail support@cs.jhu.edu with details about the kind of list you need. Who can send mail to it. Etc. If it's a class mailing list, we typically use cs###@cs.jhu.edu, where ### is the class number. E.g. cs240@cs,jhu.edu
