CS IT STAFF AVAILABILITY

  • The CS IT Support staff is back in Malone Hall. Our group is working a hybrid schedule with some of us working remotely on certain days, while others of our team are on campus.
  • We continue being available M-F, 8:30 to 5pm, but there may be certain times we might be online only.
  • Therefore, please remember to email support@cs.jhu.edu for assistance.
  • Also, please have Zoom available on your device(s), so that we can arrange to contact you using that method, as an alternative to in-person communication.
  • For the time being, Steve DeBlasio, our accounts liaison, is providing a virtual version of his daily office hours for accounts, etc. Email support@cs.jhu.edu for details.

WHAT: Most CS IT Ugrad Net services will be unavailable due to file server maintenance.

WHEN: Thursday, August 15, 4am to 7am.

NOTE: The below info affect the CS Ugrad Net systems, not the CS Grad Net systems, which will remain running and unaffected.

'DETAILS: We will be performing a required upgrade on our Ugrad Net's file server that affects all our CS Ugrad Linux systems including all those in the CS Ugrad Labs, the Ugrad compute servers (including ugradx and ugradz) and some additional CS Ugrad IT services (and will ultimately affect CS Ugrad students and their instructors who use those systems.

CS IT Services That Will Not Be Available During The System Upgrade:

  • CS Ugrad Mail service, both incoming and outgoing, will be suspended for CS Ugrad Net users.
