UNPLANNED CS SERVICE OUTAGES

masters5 down

masters5 in the masters lab is down. We are investigating, however, it looks like it will require hardware repair. Please use one of other masters lab systems instead.
UPDATE: 10/21/16 masters5 now has most of its internal components replaced. It's up and running. At this point, you can use it. Just save frequently while it runs for the next several days. Once it's been running long enough with users using it, we'll remove it from this Notices page.

masters2 down

masters2's onboard NIC (network card) has failed. Service has been called and will work on replacing it.

Lab Closure:

WHAT: Both sides of the CS Masters/Ugrad Lab, MH G61, will be closed due to the ACM Programming Contest.
WHEN: Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 7am - 8pm.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
Although these labs will be closed for the ACM Programming Contest, you may still access our Linux systems remotely, via ssh.
