We have various printers available for general use throughout the CS Dept.
Note: The printers below are labeled with their hostname and IP address.
In Shaffer 2 North, you can print to the duplexing HP P2055dn printer with hostname: shaff2prt1.cs.jhu.edu and IP: 128.220.70.228
In Shaffer 2 South, you can print to the duplexing HP 4515 printer with hostname: shaff2prt2.cs.jhu.edu (or hp4515-1.cs.jhu,edu) and IP: 128.220.67.24
In Shaffer 4 Masters' Office and Grad Lounge, near the middle dormer window, you'll find an HP 4350 duplexing printer with the machine name, hp4350-1, and queue name, neb327. Available to all Grad Students and faculty/staff/researchers/postdocs.
In NEB 225/227, the Undergraduate Lab/CS Collaboration Room also has an HP 4350 duplexing printer with the machine name, hp4350-2 available to the lab's Linux and Windows machines using the queue name, neb227.
In NEB 224 (the CS Dept. main office), there is a networked Canon color copier/printer (Canon ImageRunner Advance C5045) accessible as copier.cs.jhu.edu. Available to all CS Students and faculty/staff/researchers/postdocs. Both the Grad Net and Ugrad Net Linux computers include copier.cs.jhu.edu as an available printer. We do ask a favor of all potential users of the Canon: Please default your print configuration to Black and White or Grayscale. Only choose Color if you need to print out specifically in color. .(Our former "hpcolor" printer has been decommissioned.)
