The CS IT Support Group performs tape-based backups nightly of data changed on the /users (grad net) and /home (ugrad net) file systems. We are able to restore many files for users as needed. We can do restores during the regular work day.. (In certain instances, we can restore CS mailboxes that reside in our /var/mail directories or in your home directory. But, these are special cases.)
