Remote Access Issues To Some Of Our Ugrad Linux Systems

1/29/16

Several of the ugrad Linux clients are currently unavailable by ssh. Those systems are:

(ugrad)1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, and 24.

For the moment, please use any of the other systems with are still available remotely using ssh:

(ugrad)6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, and, of course, ugradx.

Note that all of our Ugrad Linux systems are up and running and available in the labs, just not all available remotely via ssh.

We are hoping to have the systems without remote access fixed on Monday.

PLANNED OUTAGES

gradx.cs.jhu.edu (our Grad Net compute server, available remotely by ssh only) and ugradx.cs.jhu.edu (our Ugrad Net compute server, also available remotely by ssh only) will both be unavailable Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 9am to 12 noon as they are being upgraded to Fedora 23. During this time, please use one of our Grad Net Linux clients or Ugrad Net Linux clients instead.
