Connecting To The CS Grad Net Using DHCP

Since CS does not maintain wireless connections, you will need to use a CAT-5 Cable for your network connection.

DHCP service on the grad net is available from CS offices other than the Undergraduate Lab (it has its own dhcp service.)

Once you plug your computer into a network wall-port:

Open a browser.

Browse to some website.

Your browsing call will be intercepted by the DHCP server.

Fill out the form that appears and click submit.

Once you get a confirmation page show up, please reboot your machine. You'll now be on the CS net.
